| Salvete, Amiculi! Lots of exciting events coming up! Most immediately, art from Amiculus: Volume I will be represented in a gallery show of comic book art at Shadowbox Live that will accompany their upcoming original musical, The Tenshu. This musical combines rock, kabuki and manga graphic novel elements, and runs though the month of October. Amiculus art will be installed in the gallery today and will be on display and for sale through the run of the show! You will also be able to purchase copies of Volume I in the Shadowbox boutique. In other news, Volume I will also be for sale at the Independents' Day Festival on Sunday, September 20, from 11-3 in the Columbus Comics Market tent. Amiculus will be setting up shop at the Laughing Ogre table. Independents' Day is a fantastic indie arts festival that should really just be visited on principle. Plus, in addition to Amiculus, there are tons of great independent comics and artists to check out! One last bit o' fun: I've recently posted several new pencil pages from Giancarlo Caracuzzo for Volume II. Well, here is a brand-new, never-before-seen page for your viewing pleasure! More to come! |
