Procopius journaling in the Roman Forum.
This will probably be the last full page I show for awhile, as it is not my desire to give away too much before the book debuts, but I think this is a really nice showcase for a number of reasons. First, it is the first appearance in the book of Procopius of Caesarea (whose name you see written in his native Greek in Panel One). Second, it's such a glorious panorama of classical architecture mixed with wanton destruction, I couldn't avoid using it.
Also, as mentioned in the last post, Amiculus is competing on
